Ash Wednesday is almost upon us and as usual we have begun to look for ways to help make the season of Lent more meaningful and engaging for the younger kids.
In order to help kids have a better understanding of the meaning and significance of what Lent is all about, we have created a Lenten Journal for kids as a printable download. All you have to do is click on the link, download and print the file, and get to work!
There are spaces for children to fill in with drawings or pictures. Here is an example of a page which we filled with some pictures that we found online.
There is also a page where they can write down the ways in which they would like to PRAY, FAST, GIVE and REPENT during Lent this year. May the upcoming season of Lent be a spiritual and reflective one for all of us and our families!
